MMT student Maria Paula Gómez receives the DAAD Prize2026

The IUL is pleased to announce that Ms. Maria Paula Gómez Cuervo, a student in the international master’s program in Manufacturing Technology (MMT), has been awarded the DAAD Prize 2026.

With the DAAD Prize, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) honors international students who, in addition to outstanding academic achievements, demonstrate exceptional social or intercultural engagement.
Ms. Gomez’s award recognizes her exceptional achievements in the MMT program and her social engagement. At the same time, it underscores the importance of international exchange and intercultural cooperation, which also characterize the MMT master’s program.
The IUL warmly congratulates Ms. Gomez on this well-deserved award and is delighted that her nomination was honored with the DAAD Prize. We wish her continued success in her future academic and personal endeavors.
