The Institute of Forming Technology and Lightweight Components is one of the internationally leading institutes in the field of forming technology. Not least, we owe this research strength to our highly motivated team of doctoral students, technical staff, and students.
We appreciate our student colleagues and work with them on equal terms. As a student assistant, you support our team of scientists in the field of testing, in the evaluation and preparation of measurement results, or in the numerical simulation of forming processes. Weekly working hours are between 5 to 10 hrs and are paid according to the standard hourly rates for student (“SHK”) or scientific assistants (“WHF”).
Or send an unsolicited application at any time with a CV, details of the course of studies, semester and overview of grades by e-mail: bewerbung(at)iul.tu-dortmund.de
We are looking forward to your application!
By the way: Laws of nature are not limited to subject boundaries. Research in the field of forming technology requires interdisciplinary teams. Aside from students from the fields of mechanical and industrial engineering, we are therefore pleased to receive applications from the fields of materials science, physics, mechanics, computer sciences, and electrical engineering
We are always looking for scientific staff from the fields of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, materials science, or comparable disciplines having a very good degree and fun in self-responsible scientific work.
