Additive manufacturing in forming technology

Based on actual problems statements, students will use either SLM or DED processes and machines to complete tasks which focus on the combined use of additive and forming technologies. Part of the lab is the numerical designing of advanced semi-finished forming products as well as forming tools. Using polymer-based FDM machines, rapid prototyping is employed to test ideas. The final solution will be manufactured and tested as part of the lab.

3CP are awarded for this lab. Language can be either German or English.
