MMT and UFT student excursion to Zapp Precision Metals GmbH in Schwerte

News

Last Friday, February 6th, 2026, 20 students from the Bachelor course "Umformende Fertigungstechnologie" and the Master's program "Manufacturing Technology" visited Zapp Precision Metals in Schwerte.

The trip provided the students an opportunity to observe industrial applications of forming technology and learn about precision steel production outside of the classroom. We would like to thank Zapp Precision Metals for the opportunity to visit the company and the insightful discussions, experience and knowledge they shared with us.
